CM420
Our CM420 is a machine is designed for small to medium production quantities, especially for products that that are very thin and/or have a difficult design. It is equipped with the tilting /turning mould technology which makes it an excellent solution for above mentioned products!
MEAF has acquired the technology through a joint-venture operation with a German machine manufacturer and has adopted the technique as one of its own!
CM420 highlights
- Tilting mould system
- Easy and fast retooling
- Destacking directly from mould
- Sprocket chain with roller guide
- High clamping forces
- Pneumatic sheet expander
The MEAF thermoforming technology is the result of years development work keeping the customer’s specific needs in mind. The air and plug-assisted forming enables very accurate control of the wall thickness. The precise adjustment of the timing of air, stroke and plug-assist determines the way the softened plastic is deep-drawn and how the wall thickness distribution around the sides, ribs, contours and the base allows a final, stable product.
The sheet transport is servo-motor driven for accurate transport over chain bars and cause the absolute minimum of skeletal waste. The individually operated heating zones in the top and bottom heating stations allow very precise control of along the length and width of the sheet. The twin cam system allow for positive mould clamping, precise cutting tolerances and fast mould changes with minimal adjusting points.
